Based on this some fans believe that Johnny 3 Tears and/or Charlie Scene are in fact the rapper Eminem (aka Marshall Mathers aka Slim Shady) due to similarities in vocal inflections, rapping tone, and even lyrical structure. Some people believe the group is label created while others simply believe the group is composed of mostly established talent that masked themselves so that they could create new music and art without judgement or labeling. As the first two singles hit the airwaves from the new album, members Johnny 3 Tears (aka The Server aka J3T) and Charlie Scene have come under scrutiny as to their real identity.
Many theories exist as to the true identity of the members. Wikipedia itself had been controlled by this publicity shield itself with an official entry for the band only showing up after random changes on the band's MySpace finally alluded too and announced the new album. The identity of most of the members has been closely protected by not only the band themselves, but also MySpace Records, Octone Records, and band management. The member is Deuce who revealed himself through his myspace page featuring music under his own name and own unmasked image.
